PLP (Australia) has embraced the automotive industry’s philosophy to quality control and inspection. A well equipped test facility allows for both type testing and batch testing of products and new designs to ensure that what is manufactured meets the needs of the customer and the specifications promised.

Manufacturing processes are monitored, audited and improved, based on statistical process control techniques.

The test lab includes calibrated equipment to test forces from 1 Newton to 500kN, industrial hardness testing, galvanising testing and heat cycling of overhead conductors.
